This Privacy Policy explains how Internet Marketing Secrets ("we", "us", "our"), operating the website thesprint.uk ("the Site"), collects and processes personal data. 2. What data we collect
- Email address — when you voluntarily submit it via our email capture forms.
- City / avatar context (non-personal) — the page you submitted from, used to personalise follow-up emails.
- Technical data — IP address (anonymised), browser type, device type, pages viewed, referrer. Collected by Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Affiliate click data — when you click an outbound affiliate link, your click is tracked by the destination platform (OLSP Systems) using a sub-ID specific to the page you came from. We do not receive personally identifying data from this tracking.
3. Legal basis for processing
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for email marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for analytics, fraud prevention and improving the Site. Our legitimate interest is operating and improving a free informational service.
4. How long we keep your data
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days for suppression-list purposes.
- Analytics data: 14 months (GA4 default).
- Server logs: 30 days.
5. Who we share data with
We share the minimum data necessary with these processors:
- Cloudflare Inc. (USA / EU) — hosting, CDN, edge functions.
- Resend (US-based) — transactional and marketing email delivery.
- Google LLC (USA / EU) — Analytics, Tag Manager.
- OLSP Systems Ltd (the affiliate platform you land on after clicking) — affiliate click tracking.
Where data is transferred outside the UK / EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission and the UK ICO.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR / GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the UK ICO for UK residents, or the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali for EU residents.
